These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and HMK Co. ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Grapple Flow mobile app and the website at grappleflow.net (together, the "Service").
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and accepted these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@grappleflow.net if you suspect unauthorized access.
One person, one account. Don't share credentials, sell access, or create accounts under false identities.
The first 1,000 monthly subscribers receive founder pricing of $2.99/month. This price is locked in for as long as the subscription remains continuously active. If the subscription lapses (canceled, payment failed, account deleted) and is later restarted, the prevailing monthly price at that time applies. The 1,000-user count is determined by us in good faith based on App Store and RevenueCat records.
All payments are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot issue refunds directly. Apple's refund decisions are final.
Subscription pricing for new subscribers may change. Existing subscribers will be notified in advance through Apple's standard subscription change notice and can cancel before the new price takes effect.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. Egregious violations (fraud, abuse, illegal activity) result in immediate termination without refund.
You retain ownership of the journal entries, custom chains, partner names, and other content you create in the app ("Your Content"). By creating it in the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display it as needed to operate the Service for you.
You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to post it. If you tag another user as a training partner, that user can see they were tagged and can remove the tag.
The position graph, technique catalog, chains, video selections, app design, and all other original content in the Service ("Our Content") are owned by HMK Co. and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use Our Content for personal, non-commercial training reference. You may not republish, redistribute, or build a competing product on top of it.
Some referenced techniques are part of the public domain of grappling knowledge; the map and relationships between them are our work product.
Grapple Flow is a reference and training journal — not a substitute for qualified, in-person coaching. Grappling techniques can cause serious injury when practiced without proper supervision, warm-up, and a competent training partner. By using the Service you acknowledge:
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HMK Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from inside the app (Me → Account → Delete Account). We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continued operation of the Service becomes impractical. Upon termination, the license to use the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive (Your Content license, Our Content ownership, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Governing Law) will survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the app at next launch. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
